Clean Eating // Strawberry Salsa


  • INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup finely chopped strawberries
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped peeled avocado
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated lime rind
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped seeded jalapeño pepper
  • OPTIONAL: 1/4 teaspoon sugar (I didn't add this, thought it would be too sweet)

  • LET'S MAKE IT
    1 // Finely chop all ingredients and combine all ingredients in a medium bowl; toss gently. Serve immediately.
  • 2 // Serve with tortilla chips, over chicken, pork or sauteed fish. (I just served with pita chips and it was wonderful!)
  • 2 // Enjoy this delicious summer snack!
